Sustainable materials
The components and materials used for Moscatelli footwear are all vegan.
The mounting insoles are animal free and cruelty free (LAV certified) - we have opted for insoles made of virgin vegetable fibers and recovered cellulose fibers (FSC certified, 50% post-consumer recovered fibers, duralite beige virgin vegetable fibers and FSC certified, natural resins, 100% mineral and recyclable steel, recycled rubber, recovered cellulose and from FSC certified forestry plants).
We use solvent free, water-based glues and adhesives free of chemical agents that impact the environment.
The packaging is also sustainable, a biodegradable and compostable tissue paper, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. Moreover the CO2 emissions generated by the shipment of carbon dioxide are calculated to be compensated by investments in environmental protection projects.
